In early Spring 2005, we were surprised (and completely stunned) to hear that we were pregnant with twins. I cried, and James laughed! A couple of hours after the shock had set in I laughed too. Nothing would prepare us for what was to come in store for our little family. Here is a picture with me and my best friend, Keelee, Haloween 2005. I would have the twins almost 2 weeks later. And yes.......that is REALLY my own belly!
November 19th, 2005. THE TWINS ARE HERE !!!! I delivered the twins at Cottonwood Hospital at 10:30 in the moning via C-Section. My pregnancy had ran perfectly smooth with not one complication. We decided to take them 2 1/2 weeks early because I was so sick of being pregnant. We did an amniocentesis to make sure they were ready. Everything checked out perfect.
By the time I delivered them I was 37 1/2 weeks along, and was measuring 52 centimeters. For all of the moms out there who know what that means, pretty much I was GiNoRmOuS !!!
Jett was first born because he was head first. He came into this world weighing a whopping 7 lbs. 9 oz. Jagger was second and in breech position (that is why we delivered C-Section) He came into this world weighing another whopping 7 lbs. 3oz. If you do the math that is 15 pounds of baby!!!
I was so glad to have them out. I couldn't sleep, tie my shoes, or shave my legs. But now the fun times really bagan.......
Welcoming, Jett Gregory Weight 7 lbs. 9oz.
Welcoming, Jagger Lance Weight 7 lbs. 3 oz.
Look at that proud Daddy !!!
These are some of the first photos taken of the twins in the first months of their lives. Precious memories of the two of them. I love to look at these.
Reason #1: They are so adoreable. I want to kiss their sweet little baby cheeks. You can't help but smile and "oooooh and aaaaaaaaah" over how sweet they are.
Reason #2: I am sure glad that first year is over and I survived !!! Enough said!
These are my most favorite pictures of all. I don't care what anyone says, but you have to admit, baby bottoms are so stinkin' cute. I couldn't resist.Jagger

That wraps up 2005. It was a start to many new experiences as parents to 3 boys. More to come in the next blog.
