I recently made a trip to the dentist office and learned that I am not a freak of nature.
Explanation.
I, for who knows how long, have been known to cough up nasty, foul smelling "poo balls" (that was the name I gave them because they reek!!!) i was disgusted and didn't tell a soul because I was sure I was THE only person on the planet who did this. (except for maybe Amy Winehouse, she is pretty nasty too)
I finally got the guts to ask my dentist. Well first, I actually asked my dentist's assistant about these nasty little things that i cough up and gag on. It took alot for me to do this.
She looked at me as though i was from a different planet and had tampons hanging out my nose. then she went to ask me if i was refering to "logies" (is that even how you spell it)
No.......... Duh lady, any common Joe knows what a "logie" is, especially if you grew up with a brother like mine who would slurp up a good one and let it dangle out his mouth over your face as he pinned you down to the floor. For sure I wasn't talking about "Logies".
Enter Dr. Hill.
I love my dentist!
he instantly knew what I was refering to and actually recalled the technical name for these nasty little things,...... Tonsilloliths or commonly known as "tonsil stones".

no, this is not my mouth and this is not my "pooh ball"

So there...... I am not a freak of nature who produces, "pooh balls", I am a normal girl (kind of) who produces tonsilloliths. And I am finding out that so many people i know, do too.
P.S. now that I have posted this, I hope you will still be my friends cause that was pretty much gross ;0)

Still your friend - used to get them, too. Had my tonsils out - took care of the problem. Poo ball on, my friend.
Interesting, I get those too. Never knew what they were, and never noticed they stink but I am sure they probably do. Good to know.
I have occasionally "enjoyed" those, too. Interesting.
What the Crap?????You kill me Jamie!
What the heck do they do about those???
I haven't had that problem, but I am getting my tonsils out so maybe if that is what solves it we could get our tonsils out together!!:)
I almost threw up reading this! I just love you Jami!
LOLOLOLOLOLOL. That just made me laugh sooooooo hard! Thanks for that. Oh and if getting your tonsils out takes care of the problem, I'm calling my doctor NOW to tell him I want them out!!! LOL
Wow, those pictures are pretty gross... haha. I am glad that those weren't your poo balls ;)
I have no idea who you are and you have no idea who I am (I found your blog by blog hopping) but this post made me laugh! Hard!
