Why I love Strep Throat!

Pro's:

• James took the day off (and then...... left with the kids)


• I got to sleep in until noon (but then felt like crap because I did so)


• I require Jamba Juice! Yummy!!! (which is totally against my diet plan, oh well! Thanks Jen Allen for quenching my craving and surprising me with a Jamba Juice, Love your guts!!!!)

My new best friend

• I have been able to catch up on daytime T.V. (now I know why I don't watch daytime T.V.!)


• I haven't put on an ounce of make-up, or styled my hair for a whole 48 hours ( I miss my MAC lip-stick) :0(


• I haven't lifted a finger in my house ( and now it looks like Hurricane Katrina has ripped through it, and if the laundry pile gets any bigger it will soon require a social security number)


• My kids have gotten to play tons and tons with their wonderful dad. (They come home dirty and smelling like little wet dogs) :0)


• I've been in jammies the last 48 hrs. (which means "the girls" have been free from their bra too and are looking a little sad)


• I couldn't work and got to watch American Idol tonight. (which means I also lost some money)

Simon, even though you can make some nasty comments...I still think you're hot!

P.S. referring to American Idol this is who I believe will survive: Allison, Kris, DaNnY GoKeY (my fave), & Matt

props to Anoop but he won't make it all the way. (Sorry Kee, I know you love this boy)

HATE Adam Lambert :Not a big fan of "guy-liner", when a guy wears more make-up than me and uses more hair product than me.....something is wrong in the world!!!!

• Instead of "toughing it out" with any virus, I get to be treated with an anti-biotic because i have bacteria!!!! (that doesn't sound very appealing, does it????)

Cons:

• I am not so hot right about now (except for my 103 degree temperature)


• I had to wait 90 minutes at Insta-Care to see a doctor (but had a lovely conversation with another mommy in the lobby)


• I had to wait 20 minutes at Wallgreen's (not bad) for my prescriptions to be filled (I sat in their massage chair while waiting)


• I am either freezing hot or shivering cold (which means, James get a random strip show all through out the night, that would be cool except for the fact he is totally wiped out from watching the kids all day and even if it did lead to something I feel like crap and am contagious for 72 more hours)


• I love my bath tub and visit it 2-3 times per day (wow, my water bill is gonna suck)


• I haven't visited TJ MAXX for a good 72 hours (I am saving money afterall!)


• Haven't hung out with Keelee for a good 48 hours now (Man, I know she misses me)


• Had to skip out on Young Women's activity today (Love those kids)

So I guess it is easy to say I really DON'T love Strep, and I am going to lobby for a new law that allows Mother's 3 full days of sick leave No question's asked!
