So working out has been great, especially when you have rockin' music to work out to. I will be running on the treadmill and start getting a little pooped out and then all of a sudden I hear, Kanye West sing into my ear,"That, that, that, that which won't kill me, can only make me stronger......" and I am pumped again and start to pick up the pace and get completely re-motivated. What would I ever do without my MP3 player?!?!?
So, to all of you who work out to music, please do share what it is you are listening to while you do it. I need up-beat music with a fast beat. No slow love songs or soft rock (sorry, Keelee, Kenny Loggins won't do this time) Right now I have some Nelly, Black Eyed Peas, Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, Nelly Furtado to name a few. My MP3 only holds like 64 songs so I am getting tired of the same old thing.
Please leave me some suggestions, I would love it!

I'm down with a little Sean Kingston, Fergie, Britney Spears (believe it or not, she has some awesome songs to work out to), Eminem, 311. I'm not going to lie, there's an Alvin and the Chipmunks song that I like to cool down to. Everyont thinks I'm crazy, but those boys have talent.
Okay....so when I used to run I HAD to listen to really fast paces music to keep up my momentum. I like Reel Big Fish, Offspring, Less than Jake, Mighty Mighty Bostones, etc......for exercising. They always kept me going! Anyways.....if you need a sample CD of some of what I have, just let me know! I'll hook you up!
I usually like to listen to more hip-hop songs as well. But occasionally I like to listen to poppy girl artists. Like Cherish, Destiny's Child, Gwen Stefanie, Ashlee Simpson, Rihanna, Lil Mama, Cascada, Janet Jackson, Nelly Furtado and even Miley Cyrus just to name a few haha. Bob Marley and Wyclef are always good to listen to as well. Oh Chris Brown as well, and you can't forget a little Michael Jackson!! If I think of anymore I'll let ya know. I can also E-mail you some songs if you'd like. Do you use Itunes?
It's gotta be Michael & Janet Jackson...hands down. They really keep me going especially when I need my second wind.
Okay, one of my favorites in Duck and Run by 3 Doors Down, crappy band but a good song. I also like exercising to Metallica, Disturbed, System of a Down, and the Footloose soundtrack. If I am going to R & B it has to be old school like 112, Bobby Brown, and Bell Biv DeVoe. Sorry, I am probably no help.
I agree with most of the comments-hip hop seems to be the best, overall. I also have random stuff like All-American Rejects, The Fray, OneRepublic, The Killers and you gotta love the Black Eyed Peas for working out.
Okay so here's where I defend myself and my man Kenny. Yes indeed he has his slower, more sentimental tunes if you will... but evidently you have never listened to the Footloose soundtrack, and have you never seen "Top Gun" fool? Danger Zone will get the shiz pumpen!!!
Jamie, I love this blog stuff...now I can keep up on you all. I don't have any music for you because I am old and don't listen to that stuff! Just wanted to say Hi and tell you that you are so beautiful and what ever you do will be good, but remember it is what's on the inside that is important and you have that already. Love you lynn
Jami...I have TONS of workout music! Hello! I have to for when I teach. I bet I even have some remixes of the slower stuff that you like. Come check out my music, or if you trust me, I could put together a CD of some of my favorites to run to.
Love your blog Jami! I also have about 10-15 lbs. to lose. I have about 5-7 lbs. before I can call you up and get my hair done again, and it is just killing me. I think I may cheat and just get my hair done, my roots are horrendous.
Your family is so cute. I love these blogs, don't you?
Here is my blog if you want to check it out: www.jayriefamily.blogspot.com
